Tire Treads appear to have been updated, this is a great tractor!, August 8, 2010
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:32 MinsThis is my son riding the John Deere Ground Force Tractor. Contrary to the only other Amazon review at this time, I believe that the tires are accurately reflected on the packaging, perhaps they figured out how to mold a...

John Deere Original Equipment Mulch Cover for 42" Decks #GY00115(11 customer reviews)

Fit with some effort, August 25, 2013
This cover is for the 42 inch deck regardless of mower series. I had no problem getting it on but I don't remove it because I consider myself lucky to get it to fit so easily. There is a 'Hook' welded on the deck which attaches to the cover.
Improvement over the 'other' version., July 31, 2013
John Deere appears to have two different models of mulch covers for a 42" deck. I'd already gone through two of that other version (GX10234). They tended to be poorly fitting and ended up popping off and being trashed by the mower blades...
Fits 2013 D105 42" deck perfectly, April 25, 2013
Took about 5 min to install on my 2013 D105 42" mower deck. Looks like its mulching the grass without having to change the standard blades.

Holoubeck equipment sale Oct. 27 traces 70-plus years of farming - Kearney HubHaying equipment such as the International stationary baler required several muscular, tanned and wind-burned farmers to operate. After more than 70 years of farming and raising livestock in fields along Evergreen Road between Highway 30 and the Platte River, Holoubeck was one of Nebraska’s oldest active farmers last summer and fall when he windrowed his hay. “He enjoyed haying,” his son Terry said Monday as he walked down the line of old farm machinery west of his dad’s red barn. “Even last summer, he would do the windrowing. He figured I didn’t know how to run the windrower. I was just a kid,” Terry said with a laugh, adding that although he raked and baled the hay, his dad still used a.

These machines looked so cool. I can only guess that they are used to aerate (dictionary.com works for me!) the soil before planting? Not sure. EDIT: Hay rake as corrected by The Mom.
